Hausos is a concept for 2025, who thinks in the “baby boomers” as a generation that will experience retirement in a new fun way. A detailed user analysis of this generation was done in order to develop a product that they can use and enjoy in 10 years, fulfilling their desires.
From the online survey, we found that "baby boomers" want to stay healthy and close to friends and family. So we developed the project in those areas.
The 4 main areas
Hausos main component is a brain that collects all the user’s data (from social networks, wearables, contacts) and process it in order to suggest activities for the user. This brain sends wireless all the information to the frame(s) that are around the home. Media content, suggested activities and information from the wearables owned by the user
are displayed in this frames.
Hausos at home
Sharing memories allows the user to receive data in real time from the family and friends.
Living the moment allows the user to share their daily activities with the
family in real time.
Staying sharp allows the user to make physical activities that fits their needs and according to the information received from the wearables.
Being together allows the user to create new memories
that can be share with selected contacts.
"Hausos" was a project done at Politecnico di Milano from February to July 2015.
